Hundred Acre Design is SO EXCITED to announce the launch of the Bean Madness website—a March Madness style fundraising competition to find out who makes the best red beans in New Orleans!
Bean Madness is the brainchild of Devin Meyers, founder of the famous Red Beans parade which takes place on Lundi Gras, the day before Mardi Gras Day. The goal of this competition is to raise money for local charities, Make Music NOLA and Anna’s Place, as well as give local restaurants a chance to show their skills in making local cuisine.
The competition runs throughout March with tastings happening across the city brought to you by Camelia Beans and The Krewe of Red Beans. To participate in the competition you must fill out and submit a bracket by March 12th so hurry up and let us know who you think makes the best red beans in New Orleans!
Hundred Acre Design is proud to have designed and developed the first ever digital online version of the bracket, allowing people to submit their entries from anywhere, on any device. You can also return to the site throughout the madness to track the progress of your picks and see where you stand on the leaderboard!
